I’ve got to go to school

seeing kids act like fools

the learning never ends

my life is starting again

I go home and sleep

therefor I’m counting sheeps

I wake up the next day

wondering what music I should play

I go to practice and dance

doing this one move with a chance

I’m doing a flare

feeling my body flying in the air

this is simple and clean

I just wish this is all a dream

1. Where did the king sit in the arena? 
Surrounded by his court, sat high up on his throne of royal state on one side of the arena.

2. Did the tiger come out of the same door each trial? No not all the time, on some occasion the tiger came out of one door an sometimes the other.

3. Did the princess like the lady who had been chosen to her lover’s “trial”? Give reasons. No, if the lover picks the lady not the princess the lover would be with the lady not the princess.

4. How did the princess indicate to her lover the door of her choice? She raised her hand, and made a slight, quick movement toward the right.

The First dance

It was a good school day it was bright shining outside, all of my friends are talking about the school dance that’s coming up this Friday. They were talking about who was going to be there date for the dance, and some were going to ask some girls to the dance but be on the other hand had no date to the dance or someone on planning to ask to the dance. Then, later on that day my friend Jermey asked .

“Yo Tommy!” as he yelled across the hall way.

“who’s the lucky girl that’s gonna dance with you on Friday night?” he said with a excitement.

I Chuckled “I don’t know actually ? I don’t think I’m going to the dance.” I reply with no Interest.

“C’mon bro, your my wing man! you need to go to the dance i bet there plenty of girl waiting to find a fine guy like you.” as Jermey begged me.

I was thinking twice if i should go or not but I was trying to make an excuse to not go but then he kept begging me to go.

“I don’t think I have money to go Jermey.” I said in a sad voice.

” Don’t worry about it i have extra cash on me so i’ll pay for you!” Jermey replied

” Fine ……” I said in a low tone.

“YESS!!! Now we are going to have a good time !” as he yelled.

It was Friday, I got up, yawned, got my clothing ready, went to the bathroom and showered. While I was showering i was wondering why am I going to this dance tonight? I was saying all sort of stuff like I don’t have a date, how am I suppose to have a good time… I got out the shower  slipped on my clothing ate my breakfast and got out the house and wait for that bright yellow bus looking like a stick of cheese with wheels.

I got to school first period world history, I saw my friend Angie I said hi to her but she was busy asking this guy Luke Kinglisy  the wanna be skater boy. Then when I had got my work done done she came up to me.

she yelled ” Hey Tom Tom!”

I fell off my chair and said, “Hey Angie..”

she asked me ” Who’s your date for tonight Tom Tom?”

I said ” no one I’m just going by my self…”

“Awws…. there must be some you like to ask out, is there…?” she question me.

I was thinking to my self who would be the girl that would go with me..

I said to Angie, ” well no girl in this school has interest in me..”

“THAT’S A LIE” She said with force.

“I know one person who dying to be your date..” Angie whispered

” You do?.. Who?” I said with a confused look.

“you would have to find out your self.. or  wait till the dance come.” she said.

I sighed.. so when the day ended I got home from school I was trying to figure out what I should wear. My sister came in my room to see if I’m home or not.

my sister asked, “so what are you planning to wear tonight?”

I replied, ” I Don’t really know?”

my sister told me to get washed up and she’ll find an outfit for me then when I got done washing up, I looked at the outfit and slipped it on and looked at my self.

I said to myself, ” DANG! I looked good!”

I looked like one of those kids on MTV with there fancy house and what not.

“Thanks Sis!” i said with a joy.

She dropped me off at the front of my school and I’m waiting for Jermey.

While I was waiting for Jermey I was wondering how good I looked, I never saw this side of me before. So i waited for 5 minutes and He Finally Showed up.

he yelled from a distance, “HEY BUDDY LOOKING GOOD!”

I smiled, ” you not looking bad your self.”

“lets go in.” I said acting like a cool person .

So when we got in everyone is having a great time.. but me I’m just hanging out with a couple of my friends they have date I didn’t, there dates came and took them and they were dancing I’m just sitting down and watching them having a good time I was wondering why couldn’t I get a date.

Then someone asked me, “why am I sitting all alone?”

I said, ” I have no date and no one would like to dance with me..”

I found out the person that was talking to me was this girl named Emily. I notice that this was the girl who was dying to go to the dance with me.

Emily took my arm and said, “I would be your date and I would love to dance with you Tommy.”

As we dance i realized that if I had confident I would be able to do anything.. Also I had hope of me getting a date for a dance i was thinking no one would like me or would go with me to the dance. I realize being shy would make things worse you have to have confident on this story relates to “ELEVEN” because the girl is feeling like she hasn’t turn eleven even thought she is how my story relates to it? well both story is kinda based on confident like me i would think i would have gone to the dance but i did but the girl in ELEVEN didn’t think she would have a bad day on her birthday but then the outcome always comes wrong. this was my personal experience.

   A strong young man who fights his way through the tragic, he had faced.
2. Who is Moshe the Beadle?
   Moshe is a mentor and he teaches Elie about his religious background.
3. How did the town respond to Moshe and his stories?
   They thought that Moshe had lost his mind or they had pity on him.
4. Why do you think Elie Wiesel begins Night with the story of Moshe the Beadle?
   To show the readers that the Jews are not completely helpless they just disregard the warning signs. Most of the Jews did.
5. Explain how the German Soldiers slowly took over Sighted.
   First hey earned the peoples trust. Next while the Jews had there backs turned the moved them to poorer conditions, then the concentration camps then they just started to kill them all off.
6. How was Elie’s family separated?
   When they got to the concentration camp Elie went with his father, toward the men section and his mother and sister went to the women section.
7. Why do you think the Germans take away the inmates personal belongings? Their clothing? Why do they cut their hair? Tattoo a number in each person’s arm?
   The German took things way different because they wanted to take away everything away from them and by taking away there tangible items you hurt them inside and out. The Germans didn’t want to just kill the Jews or else they would’ve throw them all in the gas chambers. No, they wanted them to suffer on the inside and out.
8. Elie, in recounting the first night in the concentration camp, says, “Never shall I forget the night, the first night in the camp, which turned my life into one long night…” What does it point to for a life to be turned into ” one long night”?
   I believe it means that one night being in that camp Mae him feel lost and I the dark for the rest of his life.
9. Please write a personal reaction to the novel do far.
   I don’t know if I can react to this story because is so sad how Elie had been Through Some much in his life and I would’ve felt the same way as he did when all that crazy stuff happen. His people was dead taken away from your family its horrible.

Written Response to “Bullied”

In Algebra 1, we screened the documentary, “Bullied”, as a part of our LAP 4, which focused on Data, Probability and Statistics. In response to this film, we shared our written thoughts with each other. 1. What was your reaction to the film, “Bullied”?

A. This Film is shocking when they didn’t protect Jamie Nabozny when he was getting bullied iuun school school is suppose to be a safe place for everyone and I was really upset how the schools didnt do anything to protect him..

1. Do Jamie Nabozny’s experiences remind you of moments in your life? Do you see bullying happening at FLC?

A. Well not really but i have seen people being bullied and its not cool. I don’t liked how student picks on a other student and thinks like they are tough, but they are not! props to jamie and props for fighting back.

1. In Algebra 1, we collected data, which informed us that a significant percentage of our classmates think bullying is a problem at FLC. What do you see as potential solutions to bullying at our school?

A. Me i know I’m not gonna bullied not trying to sound cocky but no one wouldn’t like my ugly side. So far i haven’t seen much bulling but people making fun of each other  and laugh about it, but when i do i’ll help the person who needs help.

Well there’s a lot you can know about me My name is Tommy I’m a Bboy (breakdancer) I  love to break dance I enjoy it a lot but I just don’t love Bboying the person I love the most is Vetou M. She is always there when I need her. She very smart and very beautiful she mean a lot to me. <3  I’m old enough to drive I like to hang out with friends and I’m a funny guy. I’m outgoing fun to be around with i sometime act like a kid but when things are serious I’m mature. i love hip-hop and R&B and soft rock. i can play musical instruments such as piano, guitar, and drums somewhat. D: well thats all you have to know about me. oh i almost forgot, I’m asian/ Cambodian/Viet/ Laos/ Thai/chinese a little bit. ASIAN SENSATION!!! xD

The story Goes like this–After she found out about the necklace being replica, I though that first she must have got knocked out and all of sudden woke up and ask for the necklace back but Mme. Forestier wouldn’t handed it back to her and they started to have a an argument over the necklace.” I did ten years of labor and bought you another diamond necklace to find out it was a fake,” Mathlide said. But she has also change over those years but she still wanted the diamond. She would stare at the diamond shiny in the bright light. But Mathlide gave an irate sigh and walked off in the sunny light. As she walked off she would say how lovely she is, that meant they were looking at how beautiful she was not because of the necklace.

Thank you ma’am and Mother and Son

Well the two stories is mentioning a boy’s in thank you ma’am and Mother and son, the similarities are the two author is speaking about boys in Mother and Son and Thank you ma’am could have a good life since they are still young. Mrs. Jones and the mother are telling the boys that do the right thing would help them towards life. It won’t just help them with life but it helps them to become a good man when they’re older.

Well if had not taken him home with her his life would be miserable and hard for him. He would probably still snatching people bags, robbing stores and etc. he would do all the things you wouldn’t want him to do.

If Roger met with Mrs. Jones in ten years, Mrs. Jones would be so proud of her self. Because she led Roger to the right path and she can probably see what a good man Roger have become.
